Job Title: Merchant Recruitment Officer
A NEW POSITION:
- A bachelor’s degree in distribution roles, marketing, business administration, or other relevant subjects.
- Having an MBA is beneficial.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop, broaden, and make sure that the LKS High Valued Merchants (HVM) base has a high activity ratio.
- To add value for merchants using a Tigo Pesa LKS merchant wallet, find and add merchants to the merchant payment platform.
- Create a checklist to direct the onboarding of merchants.
- Provide training materials to rehired and current merchants so they can acquire the necessary skills.
- In close collaboration with outside third parties, acquire and support Tigo Pesa LKS merchants.
- Provide a support system to make sure the merchants you acquire can operate efficiently.
- Establish local support systems for merchant wallet acquisition and administration in collaboration with the regional teams.
- Create marketing campaigns that will increase retailer usage in important, crucial areas.
- Assist the sales, distribution, and marketing departments in creating and distributing marketing collateral on schedule.
- Create a dashboard and KPIs to track performance.
KEY COMPETITIONS:
- Solid knowledge of the mobile money market.
- Exceptional ability to solve problems and communicate.
- Strong evaluative and analytical abilities.
- A driver’s license in categories B and D is required.

Job Title: Remittance Specialist
A NEW POSITION:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline.
- Three years minimum of experience in quality assurance, product development, or product management.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Create and oversee subscriber programs and promotions to increase interaction and retention.
- Use planned daily communication execution to keep subscribers engaged and active.
- To improve user onboarding procedures, put the Nursery Plan into practice.
- Reach out to new users on a frequent basis to get their input and enhance the user experience.
- Make and carry out monthly plans for BTL (below-the-line) communication.
- Visit markets to learn more and advertise Tigo Pesa goods.
- Plan and conduct training sessions for zonal teams using Tigo Pesa.
- Create weekly reports for Remittance that summarize accomplishments and actions.
- Track and evaluate campaign performance to modify tactics for best outcomes.
- To continuously enhance the onboarding procedure and user happiness, collect and act upon user input.
- Oversee exhibitions and activation events at the main headquarters to increase product awareness and uptake.
KEY COMPETITIONS:
- Excellent project management abilities and the capacity to oversee several projects at once.
- Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with quality assurance techniques and equipment, as well as product testing.
