Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS)
The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) Vacancies is an autonomous government agency that was created with the express purpose of streamlining the hiring process for public service positions. The Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002, as revised by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1), established the organ. Our goal is to become the area’s center of excellence for public service.
Our purpose is to To undertake recruitment of Public servants using modern ways by adhering to values of equity, openness and merits as well as providing advise to companies on employment related concerns. Since human resources are a crucial and important component of providing public services, PSRS has been tasked with hiring public employees in a timely, fair, and transparent manner while adhering to quality standards and providing access to all candidates in order to provide equitable service in Tanzania.
Our goal is to uphold our laws and regulations and improve excellent relations with our stakeholders while also improving government public service on matters pertaining to the recruitment process. The organ offers equal employment opportunities.
