The Saint Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS) is a constituent college of St. Augustine University Tanzania (SAUT). It is situated in Ifakara town, Kilombero District, Morogoro Region, approximately 420 kilometers southwest of Dar-es-Salaam and 230 kilometers from Morogoro town. The area is accessible by road from every direction.

The College now offers the following degrees: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The Qualifications for Lecturer:

  • Applicants for the position of Lecturer must have a PhD or MMed in the relevant field of study, as well as a Master’s degree and an undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 3.5 or above from an internationally recognized higher education institution.

 

The Positions:

  • Lecturer of Physiology.
  • Lecturer in Pediatrics and Child Health.
  • Lecturer of Internal Medicine.
  • Lecturer in Ophthalmology.
  • Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology.

The Qualifications for Assistant Lecturers:

  • The applicants for the position of Assistant Lecturer must have a Master’s Degree in the relevant topic of study and a minimum GPA of 4.0 at the Master’s degree level, as well as an undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 3.5 or better from an internationally respected higher education institution.

 

The Positions:

  • Assistant physiology lecturer.
  • Assistant Lecturer of Pharmacology.

 

 

Job Title: Tutorial Assistant (8 posts)

The Qualifications:

  •  A holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent) from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5.

  • Tutorial Assistant for Anesthesiology and Critical Care.
  • Tutorial Assistant for Ophthalmology.

Job Title: Pharmaceutical Technician (1 Post)

The Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 from a reputable health institution.
