A television network called Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation operates. It is the national network of Tanzania, owned and run by the government.
Government Note Number 186 of 2007 (The Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (Shirika la Utangazaji Tanzania –TBC) (Establishment) Order, 2007) released the Establishment Order of 2007, which established TBC in accordance with the Public Corporation Act, 1992. The President of the United Republic of Tanzania signed an order on August 24, 2007, which repealed the Tanzania Broadcasting Services (Taasisi ya Utangazaji Tanzania (TUT) (Establishment) Order, 2002) and caused TUT to discontinue operations.

POSITION TITLE: ICT OFFICER II (SECURITY) – 1 POST

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluating the security and ICT networks of the organization.
- Creating and putting into use security protocols and networks.
- Hardware inspection and upgrade to prevent weak points.
- Installing, setting up, upgrading, and maintaining antivirus and other security software within the organization.
- To protect the network infrastructure, create firewalls.
- Examining and testing the network’s security.
- Create action plans and reports on a daily and monthly basis related to network security.
- Putting upgraded systems through vulnerability testing.
- Addressing risks to security.
- Creating security rules and regulations.
- Teaching employees about security procedures.
ACHIEVEMENT AND EXPERIENCE:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related subject.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To support the process of producing television shows.
- To help in the creation of theater, light entertainment, and radio programs.
- To music program production and selection.
- To support the creation of educational development initiatives.
- To help with sports, religion, discussion shows, documentaries, and magazines, among other things.
- To handle photo logging, preliminary cutting in accordance with the screenplay, sound editing, and creation of the final release print.
- To put together VHS tapes.
- To choose music to improve video content and match it to the images; and
- To carry out any additional relevant tasks that the supervisor may prescribe.
ACHIEVEMENT AND EXPERIENCE:
Holder of a diploma from an accredited institution in one of the following fields: public relations, journalism, fine arts, mass communication, TV/radio film production, or theater arts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To take pictures of noteworthy individuals, places, events, or other illustrative content.
- To investigate pertinent photo and video narrative ideas in collaboration with editors, reporters, and writers.
- To take pictures, record sounds, and record videos for news or stories.
- To compose a story to go with the picture.
- To use photos to produce news that has significance.
- To carry out any additional tasks that the supervisor may designate.
ACHIEVEMENT AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any of the following areas: journalism, mass communication, photography, multimedia, or a related profession. The applicant must also be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and any other pertinent computer programs.
