The TANROADS (Tanzania National Roads Agency) was established on July 1, 2000, by an order published in the Government Gazette, Notice No. 293 of 2000, pursuant to Section 3(1) of the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997, with the goal of achieving significant improvements in road maintenance and development in terms of quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. According to the Roads Act No. 13 of 2007, the Agency is responsible for the management of 35,000 kilometers of roads, which include 12,786 kilometers of trunk roads and 22,214 kilometers of regional roads, as well as further reclassification up to June 2015.
Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is in charge of maintaining and developing Tanzania’s trunk and regional road networks on the mainland. It is also in charge of executing axle load control operations utilizing weighbridge scales. The Regional Manager of TANROADS Morogoro, on behalf of the Chief Executive, is seeking suitable Tanzanians to fill vacancies for four bitumen-standard road projects in the Morogoro region.
TANROADS seeks to recruit skilled and competent professionals to fill empty positions on specified employment contracts for the aforementioned road projects in the following disciplines.
