MDAs and LGAs
The MDAs and LGAs are government agencies having the status of autonomous departments that were created especially to make the hiring procedure for public service employees easier. The Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002, as modified by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1), formed the organization. Our goal is to become the area’s premier center for public service. Our goal is to recruit public workers using contemporary methods while upholding the values of merit, equity, and transparency. We also want to advise employers on employment-related issues.
Since human resources play a crucial and important role in the provision of public services, PSRS has been tasked with hiring public servants in a fair, open, and timely manner while monitoring and ensuring quality and access for all applicants in order to provide equitable services in Tanzania. In accordance with our policies and procedures, we seek to improve government public service on matters pertaining to the hiring process while also strengthening positive relationships with our stakeholders.
