The Job Summary:

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal applicant will be knowledgeable about accounting principles, have prior expertise in the travel business, and be able to manage financial transactions efficiently.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • To maintain accurate and current financial records.
  • To prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
  • To manage your accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • To reconcile your bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • To process payroll and guarantee tax compliance.
  • Create or prepare budgets and predictions.
  • To assist with internal and external audits.
  • To provide financial reports and analyses to management.
  • To identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency.

 

 

The Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a similar subject.
  • 2 or more years of experience in accounting.
  • Experience in the travel or tourist industry is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
