Description of the Job:

The Administrator is in charge of day-to-day operations, staff supervision, record keeping, and policy compliance.

 

THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop (Create) and implement HR strategies that are consistent with the company’s overall business objectives and local labor laws.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including finding, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified applicants.
  • Manage employee relations, resolve grievances, and guarantee adherence to labor standards.
  • Oversee performance evaluation methods, provide feedback, and carry out development programs to improve employee performance.
  • Manage compensation structures and benefit packages while adhering to local requirements.
  • Identify training needs, then create and administer training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
  • Promote efforts that promote organizational culture, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with all local labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and KPIs to share insights with management and stakeholders.

 

 

THE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal applicant for this post would have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, or a closely related profession.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in administration, preferably in a multinational firm.
  • Strong understanding of Tanzanian labour laws and regulations.
  • Proven background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong leadership and organizing skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili is required.

 

 

THE DESIRED SKILLS:

  • HRM (Human Resource Management) certification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Tanzanian employment legislation.
