The Job Summary:
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Lodge Manager in daily operations, with an emphasis on upholding our high standards of cleanliness and visitor pleasure. This position seeks to combine strong management abilities with operational efficiency.
The key responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage the lodge’s day-to-day operations.
- Team Management: Follow up with supervisors to make sure daily responsibilities are allocated and done.
- Communication and Coordination: Hold daily HOD meetings to discuss activities and allocate duties.
- Administrative tasks include monitoring emails on a daily basis and updating relevant departments of changes to Res Requests.
- Stock and Procurement Oversight: Check and evaluate weekly purchase orders to ensure proper ordering levels.
- Staff Management and Record Keeping: Keep track of the attendance register and assign employees off days.
- Communication with Management: Report any important changes or difficulties to Management.
- Guest Services and Operations: Build positive interactions with guests during their stay.
- Reports: Prepare and submit daily reports to directors on time and accurately.
Job Qualifications:
- The 3-5 years of hospitality management experience, including housekeeping.
- Excellent leadership and personnel management capabilities.
- Capability to multitask and handle operational issues.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- The knowledge of the ResRequest System is a bonus.
