What you are going to do is:
- Assure the office runs smoothly so that staff members in charge of instruction and administration may carry out their responsibilities effectively and professionally.
- Always keep an adequate supply of stationery and office supplies on hand.
- Make sure all office equipment is operating at peak efficiency, and keep additional paper and ink on hand at all times. Report any problems to the manager.
- Help instructors print exam papers so they are ready for use in class.
- Assist the office with its purchasing needs and give staff and students stationery.
- Welcome guests and point them in the direction of the right offices.
- Create and distribute monthly reports on the amount of photocopies, exercise books, pencils, gate passes, and printing that are used by staff and students.
- Update the Admin folder, email, and iSAMs with the staff and student attendance for each day.
- Help students submit their paperwork on time using the authorized checklist form.
- Help with the planning of the scholarship application day.
What we are trying to find:
- A diploma from an authorized college in East Africa in management, business, or a similar discipline.
- Prior administrative experience, ideally gained in a learning environment.
- Strong multitasking and organizing abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A proactive attitude toward work and the capacity for independent work.
- A person who can type more than 50 words per minute (50 WPM) will have their typing ability evaluated.
