The Sun King’s Human Resources team oversees the operations and productivity of over 2,800 employees and 20,000 commission sales agents worldwide. Sun King’s human resources function is dynamic and people-focused, reflecting the company’s growth strategy.
About the role:
The Associate Human Resource Business Partner for EasyBuy will collaborate closely with the field sales teams to guarantee the successful implementation of end-to-end HR activities at the field level, driving operational excellence and supporting team performance.
What you will be asked to do:
- Collaborate with EasyBuy Direct and other field managers to connect HR strategies with corporate objectives, create field-specific HR initiatives, and give evidence-based insights to help sales teams succeed.
- To facilitate recruitment and onboarding for field sales positions while maintaining diversity and gender balance. Determine training requirements, assist learning and development programs, and build career development goals for personnel.
- As the key HR point of contact for field sales teams, you will answer concerns, resolve problems, and build engagement initiatives to improve motivation, retention, and alignment with the company’s values.
- To oversee the entire performance management process, including performance reviews, improvement plans, disciplinary meetings, and acknowledgment of outstanding performers.
- To promote the company’s values and create a positive work environment through culture-building activities and effective change management strategies.
- To use HR data to analyze trends, offer areas for improvement, and ensure that all field operations follow labor laws and business regulations.
- To partner with managers to address performance concerns, and provide them with the tools and training they need to effectively manage and develop their teams.
You may be a strong candidate if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a similar discipline.
- Two – five (2-5) years of HR experience, including at least one year in a field-based or sales-focused position.
- A proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams while understanding their particular demands and challenges.
- A strong interpersonal and communication skills required to establish relationships with employees at all levels and create teamwork.
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting, as well as the ability to handle several priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of labour regulations, HR best practices, and their application in field operations.
- The ability to spend at least 70% of the time at field meetings and collaborating with various field sales teams.

The Sun King accepts payments digitally through mobile money systems and 28,000 field agents, totaling over 650,000 payments every day. Each Sun King device contains embedded electronics that manage usage depending on payments, similar to how a pre-paid cellphone or power meter operates.
