Work summary:
To help our auditing team, we are looking for motivated audit interns. The best applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance management, be very analytical, and show a strong desire to understand the auditing process. Applications from inexperienced CPAs are also encouraged.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Help with Audits: Assist the audit team in carrying out financial and operational audits by compiling and arranging pertinent records, carrying out fundamental audit procedures, and monitoring audit conclusions.
- Data analysis: Examine financial data for patterns, anomalies, and areas of concern. Write reports that summarize the findings and send them to senior auditors for assessment.
- Testing Controls: Carry out walkthrough tests, repeat tasks, and record the outcomes for evaluation in order to help assess the efficacy of internal controls.
- Get Work Papers Ready: Create and save thorough work documents that precisely outline the audit process, findings, suggestions, and conclusions. Make sure these papers are well-organized and readily available.
- Share Results: Work together with other team members to share results and recommendations for enhancements orally and in written reports.
- Support the team in Risk Assessment: Assist in locating and evaluating any risks inside the company and suggest remedial measures to reduce these risks.
- Learning and growth: To improve your understanding of auditing concepts and procedures, actively engage in training sessions and look for possibilities for professional growth.
