The Position Overview:

The Africado Ltd is looking for a highly skilled Auto Mechanic Grade 1 to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various vehicles and equipment. This position involves strong problem-solving abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

 

The Key responsibilities:

  • Make minor repairs to gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment can be performed autonomously.
  • To assist with heavy equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • To use, repair, and maintain machinery and tools efficiently.
  • Complete any mechanical repairs and make any necessary adjustments or modifications to vehicles and equipment.
  • Collect and analyze information regarding user difficulties to develop the best solutions.

 

 

The Qualifications:

  • A degree in Automotive Engineering (Grade 1).
  • A proficient in English speaking and communication.
  • A proven competence to carry out a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance duties.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities.

 

The required Experience:

  • At least a minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in a similar capacity.
