The BRAC Tanzania Finance LTD is seeking applications from qualified, active, and self-motivated persons for the following post.

 

Post Title: Branch Accountant – INTERN

 

 

The Job responsibilities:

  • Voucher preparation, payment processing, registration preparation, monthly report preparation, and record maintenance.
  • To ensure that registries are regularly updated.
  • Every day, we reconcile cash and bank accounts.
  • The posting and daily system updates.
  • To review and repair all past mistakes discovered during regular visits, and confirm the system meets the documentation.
  • The asset management comprises asset reconciliation, asset labeling, and physical asset verification.
  • To facilitate internal and external audits and respond to audit reports on schedule.
  • Ensure that all courses of action adhere to safeguarding guidelines.
  • Any additional obligations assigned by your supervisor.

 

 

The Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A graduate or diploma education level in Banking, Finance, and Accounting, or any other equivalent discipline, from a recognized university.
  • Fresh with field practical/study or 1 to 2 years of experience in the microfinance industry or equivalent from other comparable programs.
  • Interpersonal communication skills (English and Kiswahili).
  • Entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and competences.
  • An accounting skills, an analytical approach, and knowledge of income tax and financial laws.
  • A conversant with Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-related applications.
