Job Title: Business Development Manager

The TMHS Polyclinic is a recognized health center that promotes health and wellness through a variety of medical services, including consultations, diagnostic exams, physiotherapy, clinical therapy, and pharmaceutical services. It is currently seeking a Business Development Manager who is self-motivated, committed, results-oriented, and eager to work for the organization.

 

 

The required Qualifications:

  • A degrees in marketing, public relations, business administration, and mass communication.
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in event corporate relations, marketing, branding, and sales, as well as previous work in the health care area.
  • An understanding of healthcare industry developments, laws, and compliance is critical.
  • A creative thinking and creativity are required to build distinctive marketing strategies and promotional campaigns that set the health institution apart from competitors.
  • Expertise in traditional and digital marketing tactics, such as social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and SEO.
  • The ability to create and implement marketing initiatives that promote healthcare services, attract patients, and raise brand awareness.
  • Must be a citizen of Tanzania (Tanzanian).
  • Good (must be fluent) in writing and speaking English.
  • You must be computer savvy (skills).
  • The applicants must have a high level of discipline, conversational and interpersonal skills, analytical, innovative problem-solving abilities, and time management capabilities.

 

 

The key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement business development plans to meet growth targets.
  • To identify and assess potential new business possibilities, alliances, and markets.
  • To conduct market research and analysis to better understand trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current clients, referral sources, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Secure commercial prospects by negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • To address clients’ complaints and offer solutions to improve client happiness and retention.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to boost the polyclinic’s visibility and attract new customers.
  • To coordinate promotional events, health fairs, and community engagement initiatives.
  • To oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, websites, and social media posts.
  • To collaborate with the operational team to guarantee the successful implementation of new business initiatives.
  • To monitor and analyze performance data to determine the efficacy of business growth plans.
  • Create frequent reports outlining business development actions and outcomes.
  • Create and manage budgets for business development efforts.
  • Maintain financial performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • To conduct cost-benefit evaluations on potential projects and collaborations.
  • To set specific objectives and performance targets for the team.
  • Make sure that all business development initiatives comply with applicable healthcare legislation and standards.
  • To implement best practices to provide good service quality and patient care.
