Job Title: Capacity Development Officer – 1 Post

The duties and responsibilities:
- To collect data from Training Needs Assessments (TNAs) for program report production.
- Collect data for the purpose of reviewing and developing leadership development approaches and methodologies to ensure program quality and relevance.
- To help gather information and evaluate results, fill out the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) forms.
- To create training learning materials (in print or softcopy) and other training tools/equipment, as well as arrange for delivery to training places.
- Manage participant registration and logistical arrangements during the programme.
- To create programme schedules and keep a calendar.
- To prepare budgets for scheduled programmes for approval.
- Draft letters and other correspondence for clients regarding various queries and budgets.
- To aid with venue identification, procurement, and logistics arrangements.
- To communicate with consultants and resource individuals about their engagement levels and session schedules.
- To organize the compensation of resource persons in accordance with contract agreements.
- Prepare and input data for the maintenance and development of resource person databases, both electronic and physical.
- To assist consultants with the delivery of training programmes.
- To create programme reports in accordance with the Institute’s reporting methodology.
- To organize the assessment, surveys, and analysis of leadership capacity challenges in program creation and delivery.
The Qualifications and Experience:
A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Political Science, or similar comparable qualifications from recognized institutions. Must have at least three (3) years of professional experience in adult education, learning, and development.
