Job Title: Civil Engineer

The Job Description:

As a Civil Engineer at LCH BUILDERS, you will play an important part in the successful completion of our civil engineering projects. Your tasks will include:

  • Create detailed (comprehensive) civil engineering designs and plans that meet industry requirements and regulations.
  • Responsible for all elements of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • To provide on-site direction and support to construction crews to ensure efficient and precise work completion.
  • To identify and resolving technical issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Working (collaborating) with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

 

 

The job Qualifications:

  • The Tanzanian citizenship.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering or a similar field.
  • A minimum of (2) two years of expertise in civil engineering design, planning, and project management for buildings and roads.
  • Solid (strong) technical understanding of civil engineering principles and techniques.
  • Having excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A proven project management skills, such as budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • The Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the capacity to collaborate.
  • A love (passion) for construction and a desire to help LCH BUILDERS flourish.

 

The Preferred Qualifications:

  • The experience working on civil construction projects in Tanzania, such as roads and bridges.
  • The knowledge of the local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent/ proficiency in appropriate software applications (such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management systems).
  • The flexibility to work anywhere in Tanzania.
