Job Title: Civil Technician – 30 Posts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To help with the upkeep and repair of the Agency’s infrastructure, including its buildings and plumbing systems.
- To carry out routine maintenance and repairs on the Agency’s plumbing, water, and equipment.
- To put into practice certain technical plans and designs related to maintenance and repair operations.
- To take part in enhancing CBWSOs’ ability to draft and deliver monthly reports to the RUWASA Ward office.
- To offer the CBWSOs technical guidance and assistance.
- To organize locals in cooperation with the village council to establish CBWSOs in order to handle rural water supply programs.
- To support water sampling efforts for water supply networks’ monitoring of water quality.
- Enhancing CBWSOs’ ability to draft and deliver monthly reports to the RUWASA district office.
- To offer the CBWSOs technical guidance and assistance.
- To gather water samples for water supply schemes’ monitoring of water quality.
- To oversee CBWSO activities and support scheme maintenance.
- To take part in the proposal’s preparation for the building or renovation of excreta treatment facilities.
- To take part in the promotion of suitable technologies for restrooms.
- To support the gathering, processing, distribution, and monitoring of information about sanitation.
- To support the promotion of environmental issues in the public eye through educational initiatives.
- To oversee CBWSO activities and support scheme maintenance. additionally.
- To carry out any additional relevant tasks that your supervisor assigns you.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possessing an FTC, a diploma in civil engineering, or a comparable degree from an accredited University.
