The Job Summary:
The Corporate Sales Executive is in charge of recruiting and managing corporate clients, promoting travel services, and developing long-term commercial relationships. The function entails producing revenue from corporate clients through strategic sales, relationship building, and consistent engagement, in accordance with the company’s growth objectives. The Executive collaborates closely with the Business Development Manager to discover and translate possibilities into measurable outcomes.
The key responsibilities:
A. Corporate sales and customer acquisition
- To identify, attract, and retain corporate clients for ticketing, tour packages, and travel management services.
- Create bespoke proposals and negotiate contracts with businesses and organizations.
- To maintain and expand a robust portfolio of corporate clients through persistent follow-up and relationship management.
B. Account Management and Retention:
- To serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, guaranteeing high-quality service delivery.
- Create long-term relationships by offering customized travel solutions based on client requirements.
- To coordinate with internal divisions to ensure that corporate travel bookings run smoothly.
C. Market Research and Business Intelligence.
- To monitor corporate travel demand patterns and competition offerings in order to adjust and innovate your service offerings.
- To conduct client satisfaction surveys and collect comments to help improve services.
- To identify and propose new B2B sales opportunities in untapped markets.
D. Proposal Development and Presentation:
- Create attractive sales presentations and pitch decks for potential corporate clients.
- To participate in corporate events, exhibitions, and networking forums to market the company’s travel offerings.
E. Reporting and Performance Tracking:
- Keep correct customer data, contracts, and activity logs.
- Create weekly and monthly reports outlining client acquisition, sales effectiveness, and retention tactics.
- Monitor critical indicators like conversion rates, contract size, and renewal performance.
Job Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s or doctoral degree in business administration, marketing, tourism, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the travel, tourist, or airline industries.
- A proven experience managing corporate accounts and surpassing sales targets.
The Technical and Soft Skills:
- Excellent negotiation, sales, and company growth skills.
- The excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation, proposal-writing, and interpersonal abilities.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently.
- A proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM applications.
The Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- The corporate sales revenue and monthly/quarterly target accomplishments.
- The number of new corporate accounts acquired.
- Customer retention and repeat business value.
- The percentage of proposals that become deals.
- The reporting is both timely and accurate.
- Customer happiness and service quality feedback.
The Lines of Communication:
- Answers to/ Reports to the Business Development Manager.
- Sales Executives collaborate closely with the Sales, Reservations, and Marketing Teams, the Finance Team, and other internal departments.
