Job Role Overview:

As a CPA Accountant, you will be an integral component of our finance team, reporting directly to the Accounts Manager. This is a full-time position located in Mateves, Arusha, Tanzania. We’re searching for someone who can hit the ground running and be ready to relocate and start within a week.

 

 

The key responsibilities:

  • To manage and supervising the everyday activities of the accounting department.
  • To prepare and analysing financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial requirements and corporate policies.
  • To conduct routine financial audits and creating audit reports.
  • Support with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • To collaborate with other departments to achieve proper financial reporting.

 

 

Job Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is required.
  • At least 5-8 years of increasing experience in an accounting job.
  • A proven experience working with auditing firms, particularly in Dar es Salaam, is strongly preferred.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial rules.
  • Accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge are essential.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Be ready to relocate to Arusha as soon as possible and be available for around a week.
