The Position Summary
As a Customer Success Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and providing an excellent customer experience to enterprise clients across various target categories. You will collaborate with internal teams to guide customers through the process of discovering the product, loving it, realizing its value, and continuing to use it. You will be in charge of customer success across SMS, two-way SMS, USSD, airtime, chat, and other enterprise mobile solutions.
You should have prior experience managing a client portfolio in a technology-based service/product firm, as well as creating customer trust throughout the pre and post-sales lifecycle.
To accomplish this, you must have great organizational skills, emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, a complete awareness of the sales process, and an understanding of various customer segments and their value propositions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Introduce customers to the items and conduct walkthroughs and demos.
- Ensure that all contracts and billing processes are completed before proceeding with full onboarding.
- Check in with customers on a regular basis to ensure they are getting value from the product and to solicit input on bugs, feature requests, and so on.
- To work on any operational duties required to complete client requirements.
- Liaise with any third parties (e.g., vendors or mobile operators) required to meet customer needs.
- To maintain and manage a customer portfolio that includes SMEs and enterprises.
- Develop empathy and trust with customers.
- Rapidly gain a solid understanding of the product.
- To attend client meetings and calls as needed.
- To identify new business prospects with existing clients and doing cross-selling/upselling operations.
- The multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere with multiple responsibilities in order to manage time and prioritize properly.
- To work with team members from various areas to solve client concerns.
- To provide management with feedback and progress reports.
Job Requirements
You are qualified for this position if:
- Have at least 2 – 5 years of previous industry-related business development or customer service experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology or business management is desired but not essential.
- Exhibit great communication skills, including persuasion, coaching, negotiation, dispute resolution, and customer service.
- Possess excellent analytical, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, and planning skills.
- Demonstrate time management and organizational skills, as well as the capacity to work independently.
- Can be a self-starter who is highly driven and capable of working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Are motivated to take initiative, with a sense of urgency to achieve achievements with and through others.
- Are patient, inquisitive, detail-oriented, and motivated to solve challenges.
- Have the ability to acquire and retain knowledge fast.
