Job Title: Diesel Generator Technician 

Job location: Bagamoyo

Bagamoyo Sugar Limited (BSL)

 

 

THE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test and configure diesel generator settings.
  • Daily generator monitoring and inspections.
  • Preparing a checklist and keeping track of running hours.
  • Follow-up on periodic maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning generators.
  • Installation and commissioning generators.
  • Preparation of replacement parts and tools for generator sets.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of generators.

 

 

The Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • A proven job experience of at least two years.
  • A diploma in electromechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • The knowledge of diesel generator engines and alternators.
