Job Title: Digital Marketing – Internship

The Power Providers is looking for a dedicated and experienced intern in the field of digital marketing. The ideal applicant should be well-versed in social media platforms and have demonstrated the ability to optimize company presence, increase brand awareness, and respond promptly to business needs.

The Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related subject.
- Active experience is preferred.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
The Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Post updates (at least once a month) on Power Providers’ social media profiles, including using Facebook Ads to reach a larger audience.
- The Engagement & Follow-up: Respond to any comments and messages received on our social media accounts in a timely manner, connecting with potential consumers and questions efficiently.
- The Email Marketing: Add new leads to the Mailchimp email list and send targeted campaigns at least once every three months to keep the audience informed and engaged with Power Providers’ progress.
- The Community Outreach: Share updates on community-focused sites such as “All About Arusha”.
- The Facebook page and Arusha Mailing List Google Group at least once a month to increase local visibility.
- The SEO and Online Reach Optimization: Continuously review and apply ways to boost Power.
- The Providers’ SEO, bringing more traffic to the website and extending online visibility.
- The Graphic Design Coordination: Stay in regular communication with the external graphic designer to guarantee that updated or new visuals for digital marketing campaigns are created on time.
- The Digital Strategy Development: Create and implement successful online marketing strategy for solar products and services, with an emphasis on increasing conversions and brand exposure.
- The Marketing Material Management: Ensure that sufficient quantities of promotional materials, including as flyers, business cards, and staff uniforms, are available for events, exhibits, and customer encounters.
The Remuneration.
The internship program will last six months, and the selected intern will be compensated with a monthly incentive of 200,000 TZS. This stipend is intended to support the intern throughout the program as they contribute to the organization’s goals while gaining valuable hands-on experience in their profession. Applicants who live in Arusha will be given first priority.
