Job Title: Direct Sales Agent – 100 Positions

Job location: Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha, Moshi, Dodoma and Mbeya

The Job Purpose:

Drive the bank’s retail sales aim by conducting day-to-day customer visits and selling bank products and services to new and existing customers, while deepening existing customer relationships and maintaining operational excellence within the required service standards.

 

 

The Main Responsibilities:

  • To acquire new bank clients in your designated area through appointments, referral solicitation, or door-to-door canvassing.
  • To open bank accounts for new consumers and collect account opening fees.
  • To register customers on Akiba mobile and educate them on how to use our self-service channels.
  • To ensure that all accounts opened adhere to the bank’s KYC criteria and procedures.
  • To meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  • To generate leads, upsell, and cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
  • Take part in campaigns, special projects, and events to offer bank products and services.
  • Identify repeat customers and build relationships through regular sales of bank products and services.
  • To assist management in identifying effective marketing and pricing strategies.
  • Working tools and marketing materials should be stored safely.
  • Continuously enhance sales presentation (to minimize misselling) as well as knowledge of products, services, and bank tariffs.
  • Carry out any other related duties as assigned.

 

 

The Knowledge and Skills:

  • The direct sales knowledge.
  • The knowledge of banking products and services.
  • The ability to manage and develop customer connections.
  • The ability to sell outside of banking halls with daily exposure to the outside world.
  • Be flexible to work outside of typical business hours.
  • The excellent detail orientation and follow-through skills. Effective consultative selling skills.
  • An exceptional customer service abilities. Communication and presentation skills.

 

 

The Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent in a business-related subject such as marketing, business administration, accounting, finance, or another similar field.
  • The posts are exclusively open to recent graduates from 2024.
