THE KEY JOB PURPOSES:

The primary goal is to ensuring that the production facility’s electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. This function is critical for managing continuous manufacturing operations, optimizing equipment uptime, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

 

 

The key duties and responsibilities:

  • Safety Compliance and Hazard Prevention.
  • Energy Efficiency Optimization.
  • Training and development.
  • Equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Project Management and Leadership.
  • Electrical System Design and Installation.
  • Documentation and Reporting.

 

 

The key performance measures:

  • Equipment Uptime and Reliability: 95% uptime for important electrical equipment (such as bottling lines).
  • Energy efficiency Reduced energy consumption per unit of production.
  • Implementation of energy-saving strategies results in significant reductions in electricity use.
  • Safety compliance refers to the number of electrical safety accidents or near misses, as well as compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintenance effectiveness: 95% of scheduled preventive maintenance operations are done on time. Reduced unplanned downtime due to electrical failures after implementing preventative maintenance methods.
  • Project Management Electrical engineering tasks were completed on schedule and under budget. Meeting project objectives and milestones, such as equipment improvements or facility expansions, without compromising safety or quality.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Problem Resolution. The timeliness and effectiveness of root cause analysis investigations for electrical failures Reduction in the occurrence of electrical problems following the execution of corrective steps discovered through root cause analysis.
  • Document Accuracy Accuracy and completeness of paperwork about electrical systems, maintenance activities, and safety records, Timeliness and accuracy in reporting key performance metrics, maintenance schedules, and compliance status.
  • Training and Development, Maintenance personnel and operator competency levels in electrical safety and troubleshooting, and the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives in developing skills and knowledge within the electrical engineering team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION.

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable discipline.
  • Five (5) years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in the beverage industry or a comparable production environment.
  • A proficiency in CAD software for electrical design and drafting (for example, AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical).
