Job Description:

  • Routine maintenance of electrical equipment to guarantee peak performance and lifetime.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues and applying efficient solutions to reduce production downtime.
  • To conduct preventative maintenance inspections of electrical systems and equipment to discover possible problems before they worsen.
  • To install, repairing, and maintaining electrical components such motors, switches, sensors, and control panels.
  • Working with other departments to determine the electrical needs and requirements for new projects or improvements.
  • To attend PM activities at MCL, CRM, and CCL as needed during SSD.
  • Maintaining compliance with safety rules and protocols while performing electrical maintenance and repair work.
  • Execute the planned PM for SSD (shut down).
  • Ensure that safety precautions and switch gear safety tests are carried out as required.
  • To assist in monitoring and maintaining the substation, which involves documenting meter readings.
  • Respond swiftly to machine problems.
  • To document maintenance activities, such as repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance duties.
  • To participate in training programs to keep up with the latest technologies and best practices in electrical maintenance.
  • To report any accidents or near misses to EHS and ensure compliance.

 

 

Job Requirements.

  • A diploma or certification in electrical engineering or a similar field.
  • A proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a production setting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and principles.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • A excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues from other departments.
  • The willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance problems when necessary.
