Job Title: Examinations Officer II – Mechanical Engineering – 1 Post

The duties and responsibilities:
- To monitor the marking of candidates’ examination scripts.
- Compile lists of examiners for various exams.
- To supervise the placement of test items and the marking scheme.
- To supervise moderators of exam items and the grading method.
- Typesetting and proofreading of exam papers and marking schemes.
- Conduct post-facto analysis of NECTA-examined subjects in order to provide input to schools and other stakeholders.
- To undertake any other related duties as given by the supervisor.
The Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical education or comparable qualifications from a recognized institution, with a major in mechanical engineering.OR
- A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
