The Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is in charge of managing the financial process, analyzing daily financial activity, and then providing advice and direction to upper management on future financial goals. The finance manager will be responsible for designing and implementing financial plans to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be critical components of your duties.

 

 

The Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To analyze monthly revenues and expenses to ensure they are properly reported.
  • To analyze collected data to evaluate the company’s financial status.
  • To provide managerial staff with financial reports and interpret financial facts, as well as recommendations for next steps.
  • Provide advice on investment activities and recommended strategies for the company.
  • To ensure that reliable reports are in place to provide for a complete grasp of the current situation and support future planning and decision making.
  • Make sure that all budgets are allocated in accordance with the authorized budget document.
  • Examine and evaluate potential cost-cutting measures.
  • To ensure that all government taxes, statutory deductions, salaries, and employee benefits are paid on time and accurately.
  • The monthly return filling (PAYE, SDL, WHT, Provisional Taxes, and VAT).
  • To conduct monthly reconciliations of all CNS Group accounts to guarantee accuracy, and submit them to ZOHO Books.
  • To examine and paying expenditures filed by CNS Group staff – Treasury.
  • To maintain an organized accounting and expenditure filing system.
  • Provide support documentation, inventory, and reporting for fixed assets.

 

 

The Job Requirements:

  • The Certification: A professional accounting qualification, such as CPA (T) / Certified Public Accountant, is required.
  • The language Skills: Proficiency in English is preferred.
  • The mobility: The ability to travel as needed for supplier visits and meetings.
  • The education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, commerce, economics, statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Five years of relevant experience.

 

 

The Technical Skills:

  • A proficient in accounting packages such as ZOHO Books and Quick Books.
  • Excellent negotiating and contract management skills.

 

 

The Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of every statutory accounting rule (TRA, NSSF, WCF, etc.).
  • Knowledge of pertinent industry norms and legal requirements.
