Role Objective:
To oversee our financial operations, we are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In order to support the company’s expansion in mortgage financing, this crucial position will supervise planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic analysis.
Principal Duties:
- Preparing management accounts and financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the creation of financial models tailored to mortgages, cash flow projections, and budgets.
- Analyze trends and variances with practical insights to inform leadership choices.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory agencies to guarantee strict adherence to tax laws and accounting standards.
- Optimize financial processes, including internal controls specifically designed for mortgage operations, reporting workflows, and closing procedures.
- Determine, evaluate, and reduce financial risks to protect the stability of the organization.
- To promote growth and financial stability, assess investment opportunities while weighing risk and return.
- Encourage a culture of accountability and ongoing development by mentoring and developing members of the finance team.
- Provide management and cross-departmental teams with clear financial insights.
Skills & Qualifications:
- It is required to have a CPA (Tanzania) qualification.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
- At least five to ten years of increasing experience in financial management, ideally in banking, financial services, or mortgage financing.
- Advanced Excel abilities and familiarity with financial systems (such as Tally, ERP platforms, and QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, as well as ethical awareness and attention to detail.
