Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related subject.
- Microsoft Excel has advanced capabilities.
- Be able to work well in a team.
- Be ready to adapt and embrace change.
Summary of the Role:
The function (role) ensures proper handling of business funds at the CSP level, including adherence to acceptable standards under finance rules. It also includes cash receipting, daily banking, and reconciling online receipts (online platform and the Company’s core system) for CSP Office transactions.
The Responsibilities:
- To approve online receipts for all clients that conduct transactions using internet platforms.
- Reconciliation of Smart Policy receipts with bank deposits occurs on a daily basis.
- To prepare the reconciliation report (agent register).
- To collect remittance advice/deposit slips from clients and other business partners (be sure to receive a breakdown of deposits for money put in banks).
- After confirming deposits, cash collections, and incoming transfers, all clients’ receipts are issued in the Company’s core system.
- To communicate any disparities between monies deposited by consumers and anticipated amounts to intermediaries, customers, and the head office.
- To deposit cash and checks that are collected on a daily basis.
