Your Next Career Opportunity: Financial Planning and Analysis Supervisor
The Financial Planning & Analysis Supervisor is in charge of the company’s financial planning and analysis, which includes the drafting of an annual budget and periodic predictions. and for providing finance decision support to the business, as well as aiding the month end process. The incumbent collaborates closely with the Financial Controller, Director of Finance, and the wider business to comprehend commercial choices and possibilities, as well as to quantify the financial effect of decisions.
What You’ll Do: Primary Responsibilities:
- To coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- To provide commercial decision-making support, notably to the Operations and Sales teams.
- To prepare business cases to determine the financial impact of business actions, such as client pricing proposals and Build to Suit opportunities, by estimating project net present values and returns.
- Assistance with the development of monthly financial and periodic management reports.
- Collaborate with the rest of the finance team to adopt and promote process improvements and best practices.
- The other projects and responsibilities as allocated.
The Supervisory Responsibilities:
- To work with Talent Acquisition to seek, interview, select, hire, and retain a skilled and diverse workforce of high-performing individuals.
- To provide leadership and guidance to team members in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
- To coach, mentor, and develop team members, including supervising new team member onboarding and offering professional development planning and growth opportunities.
- Encourage team members to take responsibility of their jobs and goals.
- Delegate responsibilities as appropriate and provide regular, constructive comments on performance.
- To create a culture that is consistent with the organization’s focus on team member involvement and is in line with its mission, vision, and values.
- To lead team members in meeting the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, and goal achievement.
What You’ll Need: Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or a similar discipline;
– 3-5 years of experience in a commercial finance capacity. Proven experience in project and business modelling. Experience with an ERP system, especially Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. Worked at a multinational organization.
- To demonstrate understanding and intermediate competency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
