Tanzania Limited is a Tanzanian corporation that was incorporated in 2005 under the original name Mihan Gas corporation Limited. The company was registered as a limited liability company under the Companies Ordinance, Cap 212, and issued a registration certificate with the number 52508. Currently named as Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited, the company has rapidly expanded to become one of Tanzania’s major distributors of clean cooking energy (LPG). Taifa Gas intends to increase the usage of cooking gas among citizens by delivering safe, economical, and conveniently available products. Taifa Gas has invested in contemporary infrastructure, including gas cylinder filling facilities, gas distribution vehicles, and high-quality cylinders that exceed international safety requirements.
Its services are available throughout Tanzania, and it is expanding its network to rural regions to increase access to renewable energy and reduce the use of firewood and charcoal. In addition to its contribution to the energy sector, Taifa Gas has been an economic development partner by creating jobs in Tanzania, participating in social programs, and supporting government environmental efforts.
