The Jaza thinks (believes) that a combination of people, technology, and finance can connect Jaza’s market to the future of global living and working.

The startup creates solar-powered shops known as hubs, which charge batteries that clients use to power their homes. A single hub connects hundreds of residences. The company engages women from each Jaza village to manage the service, allowing the Jaza team to become leaders, entrepreneurs, and economic growth drivers in their areas.

 

 

The Job Role:

Our graduate program provides a unique chance for motivated and determined applicants to obtain work experience, skills, and expertise in key operational tasks throughout the firm. This program will expose chosen graduates to fast-track experiential and applied learning experiences that will help them gain industrial competency.

  • Actively participate in onboarding programs and events to become acquainted with Jaza Energy’s culture, policies, processes, and manner of operation.
  • To complete courses designed to improve technical skills and professional competences at Jaza Energy.
  • To learn about various divisions or functions within Jaza Energy to obtain experience with diverse jobs and responsibilities.
  • To get mentored by seasoned experts to learn about their work duties, operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist multiple teams with project tasks, assignments, and initiatives while following the guidance and supervision of senior team members.
  • To collaborate with other teams to solve problems, handle difficulties, and implement solutions.
  • Utilize your supervisor’s experience and collaborate closely with peers to continually enhance your performance and skills.
  • Keep accurate records of training activities, accomplishments, and milestones to monitor progress and development.
  • Contribute ideas, thoughts, and perspectives to debates and projects, drawing on your unique experience as a recent graduate.
  • To stay educated and advance professionally, conduct ongoing research into industry trends, developments, and best practices.
  • To try new processes, face obstacles, and view setbacks as opportunities for learning and progress, exhibiting resilience and determination throughout your journey as a trainee.

 

 

The Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or ordinary diploma in business studies, social sciences, human resource management, education, statistics, community development studies, rural development studies, psychology, information technology, electrical engineering, renewable energy engineering, or any other course from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 0 – 1 year of experience.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • The curiosity, the desire to learn, and a growth mindset.
  • Working in a variety of environments and professions requires adaptability and flexibility.
  • A proactive attitude and desire to take initiative and responsibility for projects.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team context.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • I am passionate about serving people.
  • A flexible, open-minded, and eager to learn.
  • Must be Tanzanian.
