Role Objective:

To join our Graduate Trainee Program, Airtel Tanzania PLC is looking for graduates that are above average academically, brilliant, young, dynamic, highly motivated, and have a creative mind.
The 16-month fixed-term Airtel Tanzania Plc Graduate Trainee program offers practical work experience supported by a well-crafted training curriculum. It enables graduates to explore their intended career options, network with industry leaders, and earn invaluable work experience, skills, and expertise.

The program aims to generate possibilities for unemployed graduates with the necessary qualifications to develop skills in the digital technical environment, as well as a talent pipeline of young leaders and competent personnel for the company’s main business areas.

Graduate trainees at Airtel Tanzania Plc will be chosen based on a variety of factors, including their intellectual prowess, capacity for leadership, capacity for influence, and capacity for a wider viewpoint.

Graduates who are interested must meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in any of the following disciplines: FinTech, Information Systems/Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, and Telecommunications with a GPA of at least the upper second.
  • Citizens of Tanzania who are under 25 years old.
  • Must have 0–1 year of post-study job experience.
  • Both Swahili and English must be spoken with ease.
  • A candidate must be able to communicate effectively, have the capacity to take on leadership roles, be analytical and capable of solving problems, be quick to pick things up, be adaptable, and be eager to work in cross-functional teams while meeting the needs of our clients.
