The Main Responsibilities:
The Grants & Reporting Manager is accountable for managing grants and producing high-caliber bids, reports, and project development materials. They report directly to the General Coordinator. He or she assures adherence to the donor’s requirements, norms, and regulations while working closely with the country coordination team.

The Grants Officer closely collaborates with the following coordinators on the Country Coordination team: Advocacy, SRHR, Administration, Finance, and Logistics, Advocacy, and Harm Reduction.
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
Management of Grants & Fundraising:
- To closely collaborate with the grant department at headquarters while investigating possible grant opportunities from a variety of sources, such as UN agencies and foreign missions (embassies).
- To maintain an up-to-date donor map that includes important information like grant possibilities, deadlines, and application requirements.
- Together with the general coordinator, set up meetings, pursue donations, and participate in forums and meetings pertaining to grant development.
Developing the project:
- To oversee the overall production of grant submissions by delegating tasks, organizing tasks clearly, and making sure deadlines are met.
- To keep an eye on the status of grant applications that have been submitted, making sure that all reporting obligations are being followed up on in a timely manner.
- To assist with budget preparation, story writing, and obtaining required supporting documentation.
- To closely cooperate with the program, logistics, HR, and finance departments in order to guarantee coherence across the many proposal components, such as the budget, storyline, logframe, and procurement requirements.
- To work together with team members to collect the data and information needed for grant applications.
- To take part in strategy sessions, meetings, and discussions pertaining to grants in order to offer thoughts and views.
Reporting and Coordination:
- To oversee the reporting of stakeholders (donors, local governments, etc.) by keeping track of deadlines and submitting reports on time.
- To guarantee reports are sent to headquarters on schedule.
- To guarantee compliance with donor protocols and guidelines, timelines, and the creation and distribution of a draft plan to pertinent personnel.
- To ensure timely submission of papers and to monitor mission-level reports.
- To closely cooperate with the finance, logistics, and program divisions in order to guarantee uniformity across all report components.
- To serve as the main point of contact for questions about reports, such as compliance and templates, working with the Program Support Officer.
- To assist in the creation of presentations, infographics, fundraising materials, and other communication items as required.
- To assist in the creation of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), collaboration agreements, and other documents by the general and program coordinators.
THE REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education (Training) and Experience.
- A master’s degree in one of the following or a related field: international relations, political science, humanitarian or development studies, social sciences, etc.
- Two years or more of experience in a comparable position.
- Proficiency in preparing reports and recommendations.
- A track record of organizing and creating excellent financial and narrative reports for a range of donors.
- In creating and managing project budgets.
- Knowledge of conformity with foreign donors.
- Experience working in development and humanitarian contexts is greatly valued.
- Expertise with multi-country awards and multi-donor budgets.
