Organization’s Background.

The Aqua-Farms Organization (AFO) is a non-governmental organization registered under the United Republic of Tanzania’s NGO Act, 2002, with registration number ooNGO/0009297. Aqua-Farms Organization was founded in 2016 and officially registered on July 6, 2017. The organization’s goal is to increase financial access, raise community understanding about aquatic conservation, and fiercely fight for community-driven economic growth.

 

The roles and responsibilities:

The recruitment Assistance (support).

  • Helping with job listings, assessing resumes, and scheduling interviews.

 

On-boarding.

  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, which includes creating welcome materials and scheduling orientation sessions.

 

 

The Employee Records Management.

  • To maintain and updating personnel files while adhering to data protection rules.

 

HR: Projects.

  • Help (assist) with HR-related projects such as employee engagement surveys and training programs.

 

Data Entry.

  • To input and managing data in human resource systems or databases.

 

Policy research.

  • To conducting study into HR best practices and policies.

 

Communication.

  • Helping to draft corporate communications, newsletters, and employee announcements.

 

Employee relations.

  • Supporting staff inquiries and difficulties, as well as assisting in the organization of team building events.

 

Training help (assistance).

  • Assisting in the coordination of training sessions or workshops.
  • Administrative tasks.
  • Filing, answering calls, and organizing records are all examples of daily administrative tasks.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

 

 

The Knowledge and qualifications:

  • The proficient awareness of Tanzanian labor laws, employment legislation, and regulations, as well as experience in compliance.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Laws, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • A quick learner with a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and the MS Excel program.
  • The work experience will provide an added advantage.
