The Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to supervise human resource responsibilities throughout our multi-sector organization. The ideal applicant will have a thorough awareness of the specialized HR requirements of the construction, logistics, and microfinance industries, playing an important role in attracting, developing, and retaining top people while maintaining legal compliance and establishing a healthy workplace culture.
The key responsibilities:
- To lead comprehensive recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies specific to each industry.To manage performance appraisals, staff engagement initiatives, and training programs.
- To administer competitive salary packages and benefit schemes that are consistent with industry standards.
- To ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards, labor laws, and financial restrictions.
- To maintain HR data, analyze trends, and prepare reports to help senior management make strategic decisions.
- Develop a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all business units.
- To supervise and mentor the HR team, promoting professional growth.
- Work directly with operational leaders in construction, logistics, and microfinance to address sector-specific HR issues.
- Encourage a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or comparable discipline is required, with a preference for a master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRBP).
- A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience is required, with exposure to the construction, logistics, and microfinance industries being especially desirable.
- Solid understanding of employment laws, safety standards, financial compliance, and industry-specific requirements.
- A proven leadership and team management abilities.
- The excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and related HR technologies.
- A strategic thinker with analytic abilities to understand HR data and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a varied range of stakeholders.
- The adaptable, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
