Job Title: Human Resource and Administration Officer – 1 Post

The duties and responsibilities:

  • To actively participate in the recruitment and selection of support personnel and interns, including finding individuals, developing interview questions, and writing interview reports.
  • Oversee the orientation and welfare of interns at the Institute (personal information, orientation, discipline, assessments, attendance, contract renewal or dismissal).
  • To administrate and supervise the implementation of outsourced services, such as contract specifications, approvals, and vendor payment certifications.
  • To start and manage micro purchases for office administration.
  • To routinely share and update staff on ethics and values in accordance with statutory regulations, as well as to support regulatory compliance.
  • Process staff loans and salary advances, as well as terminal and other employee perks, in accordance with Institute rules.
  • To coordinate staff medical exams, health screenings, and employee welfare programs.
  • Plan and manage employee absences and attendance.
  • To organize staff meetings, sports, and labor councils.
  • To manage and monitor office building maintenance, including electrical, generator, fire, and security services.
  • To manage the Institute’s property and maintenance.
  • Manage vehicle fleets and upkeep.
  • Maintain an up-to-date register of office facility upkeep and cars.
  • To conduct administrative and clerical duties, such as preparing office letters.

 

 

The Qualification and Experience:

A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Human Resources Planning and Management, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration majoring in Human Resources Management, or an equivalent related qualification from a recognized institution. Must have work experience of at least three (3) years in the appropriate position.
