Human Resource Officer (4 Posts)
The Human Resources Officer will be in charge of developing, streamlining, and executing HR workflows and procedures. Will lead a team responsible for recruiting and training new employees, as well as assigning tasks and office space to all employees. HR officers also evaluate employee performance, provide recommendations, and execute procedure changes to improve overall efficiency.
Job Location: KIGOMA, TANGA, KILINDI, AND PWANI
The Job responsibilities:
- Assess team performance to discover areas for staff coaching and guidance.
- Manage the hiring and training of workers, as well as employee orientation and development.
- Provides support line management in the administration of the performance management process, ensuring that it is completed and adheres to the standards and procedures.
- Support/ assist in monitoring contract adherence to the Company’s minimal criteria for staff management.
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and protocols, including those pertaining to safety, health, the environment, quality management, and sustainability/community relations.
- Complete the normal daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual Human Resources reports.
- Disciplinary and grievance management.
- Prepare data for payroll (monthly compensation and attendance spreadsheets).
- Manage and file. NSSF, WCF, HESLB, and other statutory payments are due monthly.
- Update and maintain the personnel database.
- Assist in work arrangement and coordination with the team supervisor.
- Manage personnel schedules and project deadlines.
- Establish conduct and process standards within the organization.
- Employment and compliance with regulatory requirements, including reporting.
- Policy development and documentation.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of human resource best practices.
- On a continual basis, look for and implement possibilities for continuous improvement in the Human Resources sector (domain).
- Creation (Development) of a superior workforce.
- Any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
The Requirements:
- Knowledge of labor laws and union relations.
- Computer knowledgeable and competent in Microsoft.
- Knowledge of relevant Human Resource management information systems, such as payroll and HR reporting.
The Educational Qualification:
- A Degree in human resources or a similar profession.
Additional (Other) Qualifications:
- Three (3+) years of experience in construction/manufacturing.
- Superb interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
The Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education: At least a bachelor’s degree is required, with no upper limit.
- Experience: Not less than three years.
