About BRAC Enterprises Tanzania Limited (BETL).
The BRAC is a leading provider of non-formal education in the world. We have been conducting schools in Bangladesh for almost 30 years, and abroad since 2002. BRAC now runs a global pre-primary school program in Bangladesh, Tanzania, and Uganda, and we are building markets for early childhood development (ECD) for 3-5-year-olds in the same countries through our ‘Play Labs’ initiative. In Tanzania, this includes the establishment of 30 play labs co-located with the Tanzanian government and sponsored by the Yidan Prize.
The BRAC Enterprises Tanzania Limited (BETL) is a Tanzanian incorporated private corporation. BETL, a social company, is now pioneering a cross-subsidy business model for early childhood development to improve the development of Tanzanian children aged three to five. BRAC’s goal with this project is to ignite Tanzania’s ECD private sector by creating a sustainable business model for providing low-cost, high-quality, and scalable play-based ECD programs. The BETL team has recently launched five schools and is in the process of launching one mobile ECD program in Dar es Salaam.

Post Title: Human Resources and Administration Officer
The Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to lead recruitment efforts, support HR operations, and promote process improvement throughout our organization. This position entails overseeing the entire employment process, keeping accurate employee records, assisting with procurement, and contributing to the development and implementation of SOPs. The ideal applicant will be people-oriented, knowledgeable about data and systems management, and dedicated to creating efficient, decentralized workflows. You will be responsible for staff training, career development, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure that all BETL and BRAC functions run smoothly.
Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a comparable profession.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all recruitment processes, such as posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- To identify fresh and unique strategies to attract talent to firms, as well as career advancement chances to keep employees.
- To maintain employee records and conduct HR administrative chores while adhering to data protection rules.
- A Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Assist in the development of detailed SOPs to document and standardize diverse workflows, guaranteeing clarity and consistency of execution in the field.
- Documentation and analysis entails thoroughly documenting existing processes, workflows, and systems in order to conduct deep analysis and develop improvement strategies.
- Decentralization: Encouraging decentralization of processes in order to increase efficiency and responsiveness.
- This includes training all managers on HR processes.
- Procurement: Assist with procurement processes and vendor agreements to ensure value for money.
- Collaborate with team members to improve procurement methods and workflow.
- Assist with training Support: Angaza Academy staff will get extensive training and continuous support to ensure effective adoption and adherence to BETL’s processes and school management system.
- Data Management: Effectively managing data within systems while assuring accuracy, security, and accessibility to authorized persons.
- Process Improvement Leadership is taking the initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvement and working with teams to make improvements that improve overall efficiency and productivity.
- To collaborate with all BRAC support functions to ensure that BETL staff receive the assistance they require to operate effectively and efficiently.
- The Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Required Skills/Capacity:
- A minimum of six months’ experience in administrative, compliance, human resources, or procurement support.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- A proficiency with office software and computer programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to handle various tasks and prioritize obligations.
- To collaborative team player eager to learn and adapt.
Type of Employment: Contractual
Remuneration/ Salary: Negotiable.
