The Dnata Zanzibar is seeking an eager, committed, and qualified team member to join our Human Resources Team.

For a successful Human Resources Assistant is accountable for ensuring transparency, correctness, and complete compliance with Employee Regulations. He/she will provide support services to all departments within dnata Zanzibar by acting as the first point of contact for any people-related issues in accordance with internal protocols and regulations.
The Responsibilities:
- Assists with new employee and benefit orientations.
- To provide administrative and general support to the Human Resources Department’s staff for all HR-related projects and activities.
- To maintain an efficient and effective filing system for HR papers, including managing staff files and ensuring that all staff documentation are up to date.
- To maintain a confidential personnel record system for all dnata Zanzibar workers in order to offer a complete, efficient, accurate, and up-to-date record of all employment, transfer, tenure, retirement, leave, and promotion-related matters.
- Assist with new employee administration, including liaising with the relevant Line Manager to ensure proper induction of new workers, providing them with relevant starter information such as staff and employment handbooks, and ensuring that all documentation is on their personnel file.
- Assist with the administration of recruitment processes, such as creating and placing adverts, answering phone calls from prospective applicants, and organizing and scheduling interviews, including lesson observations and tours.
- Assist in maintaining a recruitment spreadsheet of applications and preparing a file for the shortlisting panel.
- To support corporate recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives by creating, organizing, and executing scheduled activities and events.
- To assist in making arrangements for any maintenance concerns that may arise at any of the offices, properties leased or owned by dnata Zanzibar.
- To manage both the HR and job email inboxes, answering to inquiries and escalating to HR Administrators for further action.
- To provide daily administrative support to the Human Resources department and is the primary point of contact for workers.
- Perform/ undertake any further tasks that may be required.
The Requirement:
- At least 1–3 years of experience in HR/administration services.
- Capability to organize, prioritize, and handle various tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- He/she must be self-motivated, innovative, and capable of solving problems analytically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pay close attention to detail.
- Posses a professional demeanour and a proactive approach.
- Strong driving skills.
- Must be proficient in speaking and writing English.
