Responsibilities:
- Make sure that safe work practices are followed, including obligatory safety meetings and training, the use of PPE when needed, incident and accident reporting, and strict adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to occupational health, safety, and the environment.
- Familiarity with operating and switching As much as 6.6KV.
- To minimize unplanned maintenance, install and maintain all electrical components on Sandvik electrical drills.
- Maximize accessibility.
- Capacity to operate testing apparatus, diagnose difficult electrical issues, and create workable solutions.
- Replace electrical equipment by establishing corporate guidelines and practices.
- The capacity to read and comprehend distribution circuit maps, schematics, and drawings.
- Attending required safety meetings and courses can help you ensure safe work practices.
- Perform the necessary safety inspections and testing on electrical drills.
- Handle malfunctions and finish any required troubleshooting.
- Perform specified and required electrical equipment inspections.
- The capacity to solve issues, communicate clearly, and collaborate with others in a team.
- Make all necessary adjustments to electrical drills in accordance with instructions.
- Give less experienced employees the proper on-the-job training and guidance under the supervisor’s supervision.
- When working on electrified wires and equipment or performing high voltage electrical work, be sure you follow safe working procedures and get clearances.
Requirements for Qualification:
- Trade Certificate in Electrical Work.
- A certificate for high voltage switching.
Knowledge and Proficiency Conditions:
- Must possess a minimum of four years’ worth of experience in a related field.
- Tanzanian drivers license in valid condition.
- Excellent written and spoken communication in Swahili and English.
- Capable of comprehending the functionality and content of the book-supply interfaces.
- Effective Communication Capabilities.
- Proficiency in Time Management.
