Intern Job Opportunities at UONGOZI Institute
UONGOZI Institute
The Tanzanian government founded UONGOZI Institute in 2010 with the goal of empowering and preparing African and Tanzanian leaders to provide inclusive and sustainable solutions. This is accomplished by offering top-notch executive education, facilitating policy discussions, conducting research with a focus on action, and offering technical support to both public and private institutions.
Our approach to capacity building is comprehensive and self-reinforcing, acknowledging that the development of leadership competencies is a lifelong, ongoing process. Executive education, policy debates, action-oriented research, and technical support are the four key areas through which we approach our two strategic pillars, sustainable development and leadership. In addition to individuals from the public, business, and civil society sectors, we also work with organizations.
We think that:
In order to achieve sustainable development, leadership is essential.
A leader needs specialized training to develop.
To get the best development results for Africa, an African leadership model is essential.
Our strategies are intended to increase African leaders’ capacity to create policies and initiatives that are appropriate for their nation’s developmental requirements while also considering ramifications for the region and the world.
The Institute is presently hiring interns for positions in procurement and finance. The selected applicants will assist the department(s) or unit(s) in achieving the desired outcomes. Every post has its headquarters in Dar es Salaam.
