Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is providing an excellent internship opportunity for undergraduate students at the Internationalization and Conversion Unit (ICU) during the long holidays in September and October 2025. The ICU is in charge of coordinating foreign and visiting scholars’ affairs, managing collaborative relationships, and supervising University Convocation activities. This full-time internship offers students a valuable opportunity to obtain practical experience in a dynamic academic setting.
The Internship Details:
Job Position: Intern (2 postings)

Job duration: September–October 2025
Job Status: Full-time.
Answers to/ Reports to: Head of Unit.
Job Responsibilities:
The Interns will help the Internationalization and Convocation Unit with a variety of tasks, including:
- Assisting with the weekly program of activities for the unit.
- Contributing to the preparation of meetings, workshops, and reports.
- To coordinate scholar exchange programs and related institutional student link programmes.
- To facilitate the establishment of collaborative initiatives between MUHAS and other institutions.
- To promote university exchange program activities, including developing a communications strategy for the unit.
- Encouraging optional studies, courses, and short-term training inside departments, schools, institutes, or directorates.
- To coordinate actions of the University Convocation to accomplish its goals and functions.
- To perform any additional duties assigned by the Head of Unit.

- A strong interpersonal skills are required for productive interactions with personnel and multinational teams at all levels.
- The team-oriented and adaptable, with the capacity to respond to changing needs and possibilities.
- A proficiency in both written and spoken English and Swahili.
- The computer literacy, particularly familiarity in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
