The PanAfrican Energy Tanzania (PAET), a subsidiary of Orca Energy It is the organisational arm in charge of achieving operational success in Tanzania.

The PanAfrican Energy Tanzania (PAET) is Tanzania’s foremost integrated energy firm, working from upstream to downstream to develop and distribute natural gas to the power, industrial, and transportation sectors.

PAET, a wholly owned subsidiary of Orca Energy Group Inc., has been active in Tanzania since 2001, managing the Songo Songo natural gas field. PAET is committed to the development and efficient use of Tanzania’s natural gas resources, and it works with key stakeholders to address Tanzania’s energy constraints. The company also collaborates on the development of the country’s energy resources.

We have the internal resources to provide real possibilities for advancement and on-the-job training to interested graduate students in our internship program, thanks to our highly qualified local (99% Tanzanian) dedicated team. The majority of our most senior employees began in entry-level positions and have progressed to become highly capable employees who are the company’s heart and soul thanks to a combination of personal drive, internal support, and investments in their training and development.

After a very successful three years of delivering internship programs to over thirty (30) interns, PAET is presenting another one-year internship program with a reasonable fee. This opportunity will allow you to learn vital skills and gain extensive job experience with a leading oil and gas company. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the industry and explore prospective career choices. You will get the opportunity to collaborate with knowledgeable and motivated PAET staff, apply your theoretical knowledge, and be mentored by talented young Tanzanian professionals immersed in the business.

If you are in your final year of higher-level school, you should pursue a degree in one of the following disciplines:

 

  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Logistics
  • Finance
  • HSE/ Environmental Engineering
