Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO) – 20 Posts
The Job Details:
The NAD INSURANCE AGENCY, a CRDB SUPERAGENT in conjunction with CRDB Bank Plc, seeks to recruit highly qualified, self-motivated, and professional candidates to fill 20 posts of Business Development Officer – Agency Banking in the following regions. Mwanza, Mara, Simiyu, and Kagera
The Job Purpose:
Deliver agent network targets by effectively acquiring and supporting CRDB Wakala. In addition, you will be solely accountable for driving agent product adoption and service utilization through CRDB Wakala training and field support.
The key responsibilities:
- Effectively locate and attract agents, focusing on significant businesses in their area, as well as top-performing mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail establishments. Recruit and manage partnerships for banks, financial institutions, chain retailers, and other organizations with national reach.
- To guarantee that agents are visited for training, assistance, material delivery, and agent recruiting to guarantee compliance with the bank’s policies and the operations of the outlets.
- Coordinate client acquisition by ensuring agents are assisted and open accounts in accordance with established protocols; ensure agents are completely compliant with account opening KYC and procedures.
- Coordinate agent relationships with CRDB branches by collaborating directly with Branch Managers and branch staff to ensure that agent recruiting, support, and training targets are fulfilled to drive development.
- To conduct market audits in areas such as compliance, branding, and working tools, as well as scan rival activity on the ground through daily visits to gather helpful information for feedback and improvements.
- To ensure that agents are properly branded and visible by conducting branding tasks on the field.
- Be responsible for developing long-term professional relationships with agents from the given agent portfolio in the Region in accordance with the objectives set forth by serving as their point of contact.
- Ensure that all agents are operating at the agreed-upon levels, as measured by key agent indicators such as float, registrations, and transactions.
- Ensure that devices and promotional materials are effectively dispersed.
- To provide a weekly/monthly report in accordance with the agreed-upon format and timetable with the supervisor.
- Motivate personal training and development through coaching and studies to advance inside CRDB Bank.
- Complete all assigned tasks pertaining to agency banking operations and sales.
- Being creative in sales efforts and helping to improve the agent’s experience. To supervise and recruit account opening freelancers in order to ensure that customer accounts are opened quickly and correctly.

The Qualifications & Experience:
- A diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A One (1) year of field operating experience is advantageous.
