Job Title: Commercial Manager

 

Description of Job:

Commercial Manager oversees and coordinates all commercial activities inside the firm, such as procurement, logistics, and financial management. This position demands a thorough understanding of corporate operations, market dynamics, and international trade legislation.

THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

Procurement:

  • To Oversee all procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • To ensure that raw materials, equipment, and supplies are procured on time and at a reasonable cost.
  • To Manage supplier relationships and settle any disputes.

 

 

Logistics:

  • To Coordinate logistical operations, including as transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • To ensure that clients receive their items in an efficient and timely manner.
  • To Manage Tanzania’s import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and procedures.
  • To Manage customs clearance and documents.

 

The Financial Management:

  • Create and analyze financial reports to evaluate the success of commercial operations.

The duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and put into action HR strategies that support both local labor regulations and the company’s overarching business goals.
  • Oversee the hiring process, which includes finding, vetting, interviewing, and acclimating suitable applicants.
  • Handle complaints, maintain good employee relations, and make sure labor laws are followed.
  • To improve staff performance, oversee performance review procedures, offer comments, and carry out development plans.
  • Oversee benefit plans and compensation structures, and make sure local laws are followed.

Job Title: Logistic Incharge

The job description:

The organization’s logistics operations must be managed and coordinated by the logistics in charge to guarantee the prompt and effective flow of supplies and goods. Planning, coordinating, and managing the movement of commodities from procurement to distribution are all part of this job.

The duties and Accountabilities:

Support for Procurement:

  • Prepare and send out purchase orders to aid in the procurement process.
  • Work with suppliers to arrange for prompt material delivery.
  • Keep track of and keep an eye on purchase orders to make sure that deadlines are met.

 

Management of Inventory:

  • Keep precise inventory records and carry out routine stock inspections.

Job Summary

The warehouse in charge is in charge of supervising all warehouse activities and making sure that raw materials, completed goods, and other inventory items are handled, stored, and distributed in an efficient and effective manner. Strong organizational abilities, meticulousness, and a thorough comprehension of logistical principles are necessary for this position.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

Management of Warehouses:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations: Assign jobs, supervise warehouse workers, and make sure everything is done safely and effectively.
  • Inventory control involves keeping precise inventory records, checking stocks often, and putting precautions in place to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Space optimization: Use warehouse space as efficiently as possible to increase storage capacity and reduce handling expenses.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety rules and guidelines is crucial, as it pertains to emergency response, fire prevention, and proper handling methods.

 

 

Organizing Logistics:

  • Vendor management: Organize the acquisition of raw materials from domestic and international suppliers, guaranteeing prompt delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Internal distribution: As needed, supply raw materials to sibling companies and internal divisions.
  • Finished goods dispatch: Organize the delivery of completed goods to clients, making sure that they arrive on schedule and accurately.

Physical Cheques:

The Miscellaneous:

Ad hoc tasks: Complete any additional assignments or projects that the Plant Head, Cost Manager, or Logistics Manager assigns you.
