Job Position: Senior Internal Auditor
Answers to / Reports to: Managing Director
Department: Finance
The company’s internal controls over financial reporting, compliance, and business operations are established, developed, and evaluated with assistance from the senior internal auditor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting internal audits to make sure the business satisfies its operational, financial, and compliance goals. assisting in the creation of a reporting framework for assurance planning.
- Notifying management of control flaws and offering suggestions to reduce risk and increase value.
- Putting the company’s current processes to the test and looking for areas where they might be improved. utilizing follow-up to begin the remedy of issues found.
- Taking a proactive part in the upkeep and evaluation of policies and processes, making sure they comply with current regulations and industry best practices. corresponding with a range of corporate stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
- Eight years minimum of solid experience working as an internal auditor.
- An extra benefit is holding a professional certification like Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Competence in internal control assessment, risk analysis, and audit methods and processes.
- Strong computer abilities, particularly familiarity with audit software and mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and compliance requirements.
- Outstanding interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
- The capacity to cooperate with many stakeholders and teams.
- The capacity to manage several deadlines and operate autonomously.
- Excellent precision and meticulousness.
