Job Title: Credit Analyst

The purpose of Job:
Organize and communicate with: customers, local government, industry and community leaders, MFIs in the service region, and more LFB employees.
Customer service, loan processing, credit delivery and recovery, business appraisal and assessment visits (to guarantee that only clients who satisfy the fundamental minimum loan conditions, of good character and with the ability to pay, are financed), and guaranteeing a 100% repayment rate on all loans supplied.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Offer clients expert guidance on loan application forms, company plans, business analyses, and other required credit delivery documentation.
- Encourage marketing and the acquisition of potential clients who satisfy the various product eligibility requirements.
- Visits clients’ places of business to provide appraisals. Without a business visit, no loan is disbursed.
- Ensures that all relevant loan-processing papers are validated and connected as required by the loan documentation procedure. Responds to inquiries from clients and assists them in completing loan applications and business plans.
- Verifies the required information to process loan applications. Only the best clients are recommended to the regional manager and the loan approval committee.
- Promptly notifies loan applicants of the loan committee’s decisions.
- Verifies that the loan agreements, promissory notes, and repayment schedules for all authorized loans are prepared and given to the borrowers.
- Keeps track of impending payments and reminds clients to make their payments.
- Visits companies on a regular basis to provide technical assistance, respond to inquiries, and confirm the company’s financial stability. You should be aware of every aspect of your clients’ operations, including any patterns that can affect loan repayment, and promptly report any such information to the regional manager.
- Conducts workshops and orientation sessions for customers as needed.
- Engage in program marketing through field outreach and persuade prospective new customers to inquire about LFB financial services.
- Make sure that all rules and regulations pertaining to financial services and LFB MSE products are followed.
- Make sure all necessary signatures are on all files, and that the right paperwork is filed along with the necessary loan processing paperwork.
- Make sure that the goals are met and that reports are submitted on time.
- Carry out any additional related tasks that the supervisor or his/her assignee may assign.
Thinking Requirements and Complexity of Work:
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, as well as a thorough understanding of the target community, are required.
- Excellent decision-making and judgment skills.
The required Knowledge and experience for Job holder:
- College Receive your degree from a reputable, well-established university.
- Five years of continuous relevant experience is a minimum; one year at the senior executive level in a financial institution is preferred.
- In order to prioritize tasks, job holders should try to learn about macro and micro planning time horizons.
- A seasoned team player with the capacity to function in a hectic setting.
- The capacity to establish connections with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and vocal communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptionally strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
