Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Summary of Work:

Carry out a broad range of administrative and technical support tasks for human resources linked to Tabono Consult Ltd’s hiring and recruitment processes. Significant initiative, precision, organizational and computer program application abilities, as well as the capacity to focus on several projects within set deadlines, are required for this position.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • For Tabono’s advantage, oversee, develop, and preserve the company’s internal and external business connections with its stakeholders.
  • Seek out competent and gifted candidates for the organization in the neighborhood and beyond.
  • Proactively find candidates and create a competitive database to meet client hiring needs.
  • Conduct pre-employment examinations and make sure all prerequisites have been satisfied in accordance with the set rules.
  • Obtain, keep track of, and preserve all requests for recruiting.
  • Give customers guidance and assistance as they draft, update, and/or evaluate job descriptions.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and job announcements for open opportunities.
  • Examine applications and associated materials to ascertain each applicant’s eligibility.
  • Pre-screen candidates as needed to complete job requests, then forward qualified candidates to the recruitment manager and other pertinent parties for additional screening.
  • Uphold internal audit requirements when maintaining the recruitment/new hiring database.
  • Assemble and oversee the feedback procedure for the reference check.
  • Control the flow of all applications and correspondence associated with them.
  • Check in with the business manager regarding the status of each job offer.
  • Bridging the gap between management and employee relations by responding to requests, complaints, and other questions about employees.
  • Participate in the creation and enhancement of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  • Provide a good work atmosphere for staff members to enhance collaboration, boost morale, boost output, and enhance retention.
  • Effective client management that guarantees compliance with all SLAs in contracts.
  • Determine the demands of your clients. Using pre-existing or specially designed solutions, prescribe, plan, and carry out strategic interventions.
  • To maintain your competitiveness in the changing labor market, conduct market research on outsourcing trends.
  • Any additional tasks as assigned by the department head or line manager.

 

Qualifications:

Training (Education) and Work Experience:

  • A human resources management bachelor’s degree.
  • Two years or more of experience managing human resources in a comparable company.
  • Excellent command of the English language.

 

 

Competencies and Skills:

  • Psychometric testing Evaluation and labor interview methods.
  • Proficient in addressing problems and has critical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Management and involvement of stakeholders.
  • Management of the customer experience.
  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Tanzanian labor laws.

 

Extra prerequisites / Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients for recruitments needs.
  • Adaptability to shifting customer demands and market situations.
  • High standard of ethics and professionalism.
